I’m Sara, the founder of IdeaSpark Advisory, a dedicated coaching and change management platform inspired by my purpose to empower growth and motivate individuals to embrace their unique strengths and passions, and navigate changes and challenges in the best possible way.

I am the founder of a decade-long change consultancy, with extensive experience as a People Change Manager.

I’ve worked across diverse large organizations, leading digital transformations, change initiatives, and international projects.

My background in managing teams, strategic communication, driving organizational success, and coaching has given me a deep understanding of what it takes to thrive through change, how to build resilience, foster authentic leadership, and turn setbacks into opportunities for growth.

Some of my achievements in my consultancy:

  • Led global organizational and people change initiatives for clients, including Saxo Bank, Mærsk Oil, Falck Healthcare, Tryg Insurance, and the EU (EFSA).

  • Designed and executed large-scale change and transformation programs, emphasizing the people side of change, culture shifts, organizational design, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Specializing in facilitating workshops, communication campaigns, and training, helping individuals and teams adopt new working methods with minimal resistance.

  • Supported Tryg Insurance as a People Change Manager Lead, leading workshops, stakeholder dialogues, and communication efforts to successfully onboard 2500 employees during a major system transition - improving engagement, clarity, and adoption.

The IdeaSpark Advisory Experience

I remember being told in my first consultancy job not to call in sick unless I had a 42-degree fever.

As a young woman and a new mother, I was doing everything I could to master my responsibilities at work and everywhere else.
I remember the slander, the sometimes toxic environment, and the harsh, conflict-ridden, and unpleasant leadership, with no connection to employees.
But most clearly, I remember the disappointment.
Was working life really like this?
Moments like these made me realize I needed to make a change. Yet, I still stayed too long.

Why?

Because change can sometimes be the hardest thing.

Especially if you are as stubborn as I was, wanting to prove to yourself that you can endure it. You don’t want to lose!
The sad thing is – you only lose to yourself if you stay.
You lose precious time that you cannot take back.

Fortunately, I realized that fixing the issues in that company wouldn’t be a one-time effort but an ongoing challenge.
The new job I found celebrated children and family life, offered better life balance, and had a refreshing, modern approach to living a meaningful life.

It taught me an important lesson:
No matter how prepared you are or how much you strive for perfection, life is inherently unpredictable and full of obstacles.
You have to be willing to change.
Time is simply too precious to stay in a job you don’t like.

So, I learned to approach changes differently and to never waste time like that again.

My children tell me YOLO, which is so true.
Remember not to waste time and to spend it consciously.
